BIG GIGANTIC (LIVE, UK Debut)
These guys are a huge sensation in America right now, they’re playing some of the biggest festivals and venues going and sharing headliner billing with the likes of Wu Tang Clan, Afojack, Nas and Pretty Lights to name a few.
Consisting of live saxophone, drums and production, this pairing put on a show like none other! Known for their high-energy live performances, their shows combine the improvisational dynamics of jam bands and jazz with DJ-style production - bass tones, synthesizers.
Be the first to see the delights of Big Gigantic in this country, they’ve already taken over America, now its time for world domination!!
Electric Empire Escapade is all about the party, this is an individual who is the party! A perfect pairing some might say. If you have ever seen Krafty Kuts play you know he gets the crowd going in every way(like what I did there), his multi genre sets are something to behold, sliding between Breaks, Drum’n’Bass, Trap, Funk, Electro and even sometimes the odd bit of swing!
From humble beginnings, Krafty Kuts is now one of the big players on the world’s club scene. An enviable career which boasts accolades ranging from eight times Breakspoll Winner, Best International DJ and Best Single of the Year by DJ Mag, and DJing alongside The Prodigy, Fatboy Slim and even the Rolling Stones.
Record label owner, producer and DJ extraordinaire, A.Skillz’ incredible deck talents fuse funk, soul and hip-hop with D’n’B, dub-step and breaks, all sliced, mashed and cut together with a unique style of scratching and mixing. His reputation as a true party rocker has won him prime-time slots across the world at a ‘who’s who’ of major events.
SLAMBOREE (Live - London Showcase)
THIS SHOW IS CRAZY GOOD!!!
Slamboree is a live band with a Smörgåsbord of circus performers, daredevils and entertainers.
Musically it fuses bass-driven beats with live orchestra, guitars, percussion, loops, visuals, brass, accordian, pyrotechnics and circus. The genres bounce around breakbeat, dubstep, drum & bass, dub, techno and electro fused with balkan, folk, and ‘gypsy’ flavours… all original and all live.
Within our short time on the road we’ve been fortunate enough to perform our live shows at some amazing places such as Glastonbury Festival, Electric Picnic, Boomtown, Shambala, Beatherder, Kendal Calling and the River Thames in London.
TOO MANY T’S
This will be their final show of the ‘Beats We Wished We Had Tour’ and what a way to end it. Being championed as the UK’s answer to the legendary Beastie Boys, these cheeky chaps are going take the 2013 festival season by storm. Rob da Bank is probably their biggest fan and only recently had them host the main stage at Bestival
Their formula is a unique funky style of full fat beats, stirred in with two heaps of sugary fresh raps, comical swagger and the distinct fragrance of golden era hip hop. And your favourite biscuit too. Do not miss this!!
Odjbox is undoubtedly one of the biggest talents in the Electro Swing scene! His trademark sound, a fusion of Funk, Swing, Glitch and Hip Hop has really made him stand out from the rest and exposed the huge talent that is Odjbox.
He was one of the headlining acts at the recent White Mink NYE party and he’s also been a big part of the rise of Electric Empire. It would just be wrong to not have him on the lineup. If Mr Scruff and Flux Pavilion were one person he would probably look and sound a bit like Odjbox!
If your not a fan already you need to get on this!
DJ DODGY STYLE
The master of mashup! Ducking and diving between styles like no other, mixing everything from Swing to Trap! I’m sure you’ll hear the odd dose of Drum’n’Bass in there too.
You could say he is the 2 Many Djs or the DJ Yoda of the swing world - lots of people are starting to take note and are realising the talents of this masterful DJ.
Playing a big part in White Minks legendary New Years Eve gig of 2012, this guy only plays the biggest party’s going.
ROOM 2 - MADAME ELECTRIFIE’S DISCOTECH
“Where swing meets synth and big band meets bass” Madame Electrifie’s Discotech brings the very best in electro swing and vintage beats and serves them up with a huge slap of bass, breaks and ghetto happenings. Having ran stages at both Glade festival, and a now regular fixture at Boomtown, Madame Electrifie’s Discotech delivers quality beats and show stopping production, with handfuls of glitter for good measure.
